BTL-A4 Y-wing (VTOL Capabilities)
Presenting my BTL-A4 Y-wing. Built because I love star wars and the lack of star wars creations on the workshop.
It features:
– Vtol (Star Wars isn’t star wars without hovering things in my opinion)
– Can hover over land and water (over land it uses distance sensor and altitude sensor over water)
– 10 Proton torpedoes ( fires 2 at a time via seat or button)
– stabilizers (toggelable)
– automatic heaters
– detailed exterior
– automatic landing gear
To takeoff:
1. get i cockpit and close the canopy (press 3)
2. turn on power switches and light switches
3. turn on stabilizers, hovermode (press 2 or button) and set hovermode altitude to 4
4. turn on fuel pumps and compressors
5. when engines start turn off compressors
6. lean froward to an open area(out of the hangar)
7. lean back and toggle hovermode off (press 2 or button)
To land:
1. approach semi-low and toggle hovermode
2. lean back slightly when hover kicks in
3 keep leaning untill almost motionless
4. set Hovermode altutude between 2 and 1
5. throttle down to 30
6. turn off fuel pumps when on the ground
When landing on a carrier set Hovermode altitude higher to avoid colliding with it. I had a lot of fun building this so I hope you enjoy it. Please let me know of any issues you are experiencing aswell as suggestions for new builds or features.
