Angleterre – England Francified
A mod to change the names of English* places once a culturally French person has taken the titles.
This will work for any of the following cultures: French, Norman, Outremer, Occitan, Frankish
I used a combination of others’ attempts, my own dive into the etymologies of different places and a (1) french speaker. Please do comment any suggestions for names/name changes, if I like them I may add them.
* Only Baronies, Counties and Duchies inside of England have been affected by this mod.
This mod will be compatible with any other mod that does not add or change the names of baronies, counties, duchies inside of or including the Kingdom of England title. I briefly tested with "More Provinces Expanded" and the result was missing baronies, but most of the names still worked fine. The conclusion is use at your own peril.
I will assess any requests for compatibility with other mods on a case-by-case basis.
