This is a Plugin Mod.
It requires Bepinex to be installed with the StationeersLaunchPad plugin.

Adds ItemKitCCTV,CircuitboardCCTV/LD,CircuitboardCCTV/SD and CircuitboardCCTV/HD to Stationeers.
Ever get the feeling someone’s up to something? Maybe it’s a rogue crewmate, a misplaced canister, or just another case of batteries mysteriously vanishing. With the CCTV Mod, you’ll never have to wonder again.

The Kit (CCTV) contains five cameras.
Plug the Circuitboard (CCTV) into a console, insert a disk
and select the camera feed from the network list.

The circuit boards come in low (LD 128), standard (SD 256) and high (HD 512) resolution including a scanner version for low light conditions.

Tip:

You can link multiple cameras to a single console and toggle their On/Off state
via logic boards or MIPS to cycle through the feeds automatically. Having only one camera turned on during cycling means it has the performance cost of one camera while multiple are being used in case you want this to be efficient. Lower tier circuit boards also have slightly less impact.

Performance:

The camera FPS is capped at 10 FPS but will go lower the more camera feeds you have active in your scene.

If you need surveillance at great distance you will have to increase the render distance in the settings or get Kastuk’s Render Distance Multiplier.

Simply install it, select it inside the mod menu and increase the Thing modifier in the config window to your liking.

Known issues:

Camera feed may freeze or have a black screen when the network gets updated frequently
during its construction (you can still complete the network and save the game)
Workaround: Save reload.

Things and structures in the cameras view are not independent of the player render distance.
