DLR Bombardier B07
The DLR B07 is a fully automated driverless light metro train, built by Bombardier between 2006 and 2009 for the Docklands Light Railway system in East London.
These trains were ordered in separate batches of 24 in 2005 and 31 in 2006 (making the 55 total vehicles that are in the fleet) by TFL (with additional funding provided by the Olympic Delivery Authority ahead of London 2012) to accomodate for extensions to the DLR network, and addition of 3 car services, these units were delivered between 2007 and 2010, entering service in 2008 and are still being used today. (B denoting Beckton Depot, 07 for 2007)
The trains see use all over the DLR network today, and can be seen in 2 or 3 car formations, however a 1 car formation has also been included. These have a maximum speed of 50mph/80kmh, and a capacity of 284 per car. [Please note due to the way NIMBY Rails works, each articulated car is made out of 2 cars according to the game.]
They have only ever been in the current Red, Blue, and Turquoise livery. But for variety, liveries based on the new DLR livery found on the B23, and the old livery worn from the system’s opening to the early 2000s and seen on the former P86/P89s (which see use today in Essen, Germany), and the B90/B92/B2Ks (still in use on the DLR today), have been included (Despite the B07 having never been in these liveries.)
