Description:

Ramiel from 1995 TV anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Based more on the 1995 TV version, instead of the 2007 movie version.

It has a deadly directed beam capable of vaporizing things both in the air and on the surface up to 20km away.
It also has a strong A.T. Field protecting it from conventional attacks.
In addition,a drill can be deployed using "F10" debug menu(under TestMode subpage, play animation)

After the 0.6 update,AnchorChain and Sealifter is no longer required. The support of custom meshes loading are already in the base game. (still thanks for those 2 mods making custom model mod possible before this update)

Compatibility:
__Ramiel itself, and all the weapons, sensors, animations used in this mod are standalone,so this shouldn’t conflict with any other mods or affect any unit in the vanilla game.

2025/6/10 update:Fixed the issue of things got frozen when a missile is intercepted by Ramiel by changing it’s nation from custom one to Japan.
2025/7/4 and 8/2 update:0.4.0 version support and some small fixes.

2025/10/5 update:
A work around fix for laser beam for version 0.5,the base game has changed how ballistic trajectory is calculated after the last update,so gravityfactor trick doesn’t work anymore. looks like now it’s impossible to make the beam fly straight like a laser and ensure it’s accuracy at the same time,so now the laser beam u see in game is actually pure visual effect,it won’t hit the target. I made some invisible ammo working in the background doing the actual job.

known issue:
1.the laser beam actually aims slightly high.
2.the laser beam have trouble aiming surface targets.(but it can still engage surface ship fine using the "AT field attack" )
3. System demanding when it’s attacking,so when it’s firing,expect FPS drop.
(if you find anything broken, leave a comment in the review,I will try my best to fix it)
