This mission is based on the real story of USS Mason (DDG-87), which came under fire in 2016 while escorting the landing ship USS Ponce. If you want to know more about this story:

In this mission, you will take command of USS Mason. Your goals are to escort USS Ponce out of the danger zone and to help conduct a Tomahawk strike on key Houthi infrastructures.
