Railways
Spice up the map with a train for that nice industrial feeling.
Place a Railway Spawner on the map, rotate it the way you want. It will move to the map side where the trains will enter the map. Click its button to create the rails and to specify the amount of wagons. Tracks are surrounded by Gravel and Loose Stone.
When you’re done, roughly once per hour a freight train will show up.
Trains are only eye candy, no real deliveries/pickups are made.
- Railway Manager
Spawns eye candy freight trains once per 30~60 minutes on a random Railway Track. - Railway Track
Create a railway track with its button after placement.
Set Wagons to 0 in order to disable train spawning on a track.
This object checks for default and custom roads and can create crossings automatically.
Roads can be made vertical or horizontal with the C.U.R.B. tiles from the materials menu.
You can also create custom eye candy tracks without using this object. - Railway Station
You can place train platform pieces to create a train station.
This will just be eye candy, but stations block movement so they can be artificial walls.
You can make the platforms as long as you want. - Railway Bumper Block
The dead end of a railway track. Typically used with some parked wagons. - Train and Wagons
All train wagons can be bought and used as static eye candy nearby a station. - Railway Sign and Railway Crossing Sign
Some train traffic signs for extra detail.
- Railway Switch
Various quickbuilds for easy placement of Railway Switches.
Note that they are Z-shaped can click into eachother like a puzzle if you place them correctly.
This mod requires the Many Materials 2.0 mod in order to create the train rails.
When using the optional Modern UI 3.0 mod, you get icons for the Railway Switch quickbuilds.
The order in your mods list shouldn’t matter.
