"In this alternate reality, the survivors are stranded, quickly losing supplies, and tired from the constant rowing. The scenario they find themselves in is dire; lost in the muddy waters and rivers of the jungle, there is no hope for survival. However, through sheer miracle alone, they manage to come across a once abandoned shoreline, which, unbeknownst to them, holds a long abandoned bastion that must have been out of use for many years. With this newfound hope, survivors must huddle themselves and prepare for what could be their last holdout in the jungle."

Taking place in an unknown region of Southeast Asia, the map’s jungle and overgrown theme is quite unique for Left 4 Dead 2. With its use of dense fog, rain, towering cliffs, and dense vegetation, the map’s overall damp and muddy atmosphere gets shown to full effect. With the use of custom assets made by me or from CSGO, elevating this said theme further.

Sporting outposts from the islands militaristic past, the map itself has varying and unique holdout positions that over time have been playtested an abundance of times by people who know the game mode to heart. Over the months of work, asset creation, and playtesting, the map itself has seen many reworks and feedback from many perspectives, but now is finally finished and ready for release.
