War of the Ring – A Middle-Earth Third Age Map | READ DESCRIPTION
Enjoy a war for Middle-Earth like never seen before! Fight the Corsairs of Umbar along the coasts of Gondor, or perhaps delve deep inside the Mirkwood forests where the elves fend off Dol Guldur!
FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE:
– You can play this 3 different ways, depending on your preference!
1 – Ally nations with each other immediately, so say the currently 7 split Gondorian nations would become one large Alliance.
2 – Choose a nation, say the Kingdom of Gondor, and Annex its 6 neighboring nations immediately, giving you the more historical accurate Kingdom of Gondor that we all know and love, all united and whole.
3 – Leave them all as is! We love a good free for all where anyone, even the hobbits, might take over!
– For more immersion I recommend changing names on nations that take over! Say if the Remnants of Arthedain take over Western Arthedain, you might just have yourself a Reunification of Arthedain, or later, maybe even the Restored Kingdom of Arnor if they take out Cardolan and Rhudaur!

Though I did my best where I could, this map is NOT 100% accurate to the works of Tolkien, but due to the nature of the game I decided to add a lot of nations that wouldn’t exist in the real works, but I tried to name them a way that might make things interesting, like "Tribes of …" to show their
nature.
