Carthage Eternal
The Second Punic War has ended in a Carthegenean victory, with the Romans surrendering after Hannibals successful siege of Rome. 80 Years after this conflict, Carthage rules the mediterrainian, even conquering all of Hispania and parts of Gaul, starting a Punic Golden age in Western Europe. However, threats emerge from the far East, as Sycthian, Uralic, Baltic, and Hunnic tribes begin spreading havoc in the civilized world. In the eastern Mediterrainian, the foundations of Alexander the Great’s remnant states begin to fall into ruin. The once mighty Antigonid Empire is now a shell of its former self, while Macedon’s power also wanes. As the hordes approach, it seems that only one empire, Carthage, will be able to save Europe from a Dark Age. Or Perhaps Rome will make a return as a great power, or the Celts will vanquish the Dominions of the South. Anything is possible in this Ultimate Ancient Map.
