CP Série 4000
The 4000 series is a type of active pendulation EMU used in Portugal by CP (Comboios de Portugal). Acquired in 1999 to make the trip between Lisbon and Porto in 2 hours and 15 minutes, today they make up the best CP trains, and link Braga, Porto, Coimbra and Faro with Lisbon through the Alfa Pendular service.
