[WOTC] Melee Match
Updates standard Sword/Axe tech level to match primary weapon damage increases, also increases Chosen Sword damage (once in XCOM’s posession in similar manner).
Sword had 3-5/4-6/5-7 damage depending on tech level, now 3-5/5-7/6-8 similar to Rifle.
(Fusion blade has +2 in damage in WOTC compared to pre-WOTC originally, so matches this mod.
Axe had 4-6/5-7/6-8 damage depending on tech level, now 4-6/6-8/8-10 similar to Shotgun.
Chosen Sword had 8-9 damage now 10-11.
I found the Sword not staying relevant as the game progresses. Whilst the Sword had similar secondary weapon damage upgrades similar to the Pistol; the Pistol can at least benefit from Experimental Ammo.
To remove, delete your User XCOM2 (XComGameData_WeaponData) config file and unsubscribe to refresh your game.
