Unblockable Flamethrowers
Flamethrowers are no longer inhibited by low cover. High cover will still block them.
In addition:
XCOM flamethrowers will now apply a small burning effect on any target they hit.
Purifiers will now always hit anything in range instead of having a chance to miss.
All flamethrowers also now have a chance to panic things. Purifiers get a relatively low chance, normal XCOM flamethrowers get a middle of the road chance, Hellfire Flamethrowers should panic most enemies.
Wearing a hazmat vest or some other fire immunity item will make a unit invulnerable to the panic check.
There’s also one enemy who is specifically not afraid of fire despite being an organic unit: Priests. Presumably they just go "Hallowed are the Elders" when set on fire or something.
