TRG 7.62×39 mm Variant
This mod adds a seperate variant of the TRG-21 rifles that use the 7.62×39 mm cartridge. Included are the rifle (TRG-41 with GL version) and the carbine (TRG-40) variant, which weigh a lot less than comparable weapons of the same caliber. Also, if you own neither the Apex nor the Contact DLC, the TRG-41 is a good way to test out the power of 7.62×39 mm while still having a weapon that fits the vanilla setting.

Compatibility
The TRG-41 rifles can take any vanilla or CBA compatible 7.62×39 mm AK magazines and drums. Small disclaimer however: Drums do not use the proper animation and clip through the arm of the player. I recommend only using normal stick magazines but I included the ability to use drums for people that do not care about cosmetic looks. As for attachments, some mods will work, some don’t, I may add more compatiblity in the future (RHS works!)
Language
All weapons are translated to every available language of Arma 3.
Weapon Statistics
Recoil, mass and muzzle velocity has been changed from the base TRG-21 rifle. The 7.62×39 mm cartridge has a lower muzzle velocity than the 5.56 mm so hitting targets at range will be more difficult. Mass and muzzle velocity values:
– TRG-41: 85 Units, 730 m/s
– TRG-41 GL: 105 Units, 730 m/s
– TRG-40: 75 Units, 530 m/s
