Vanilla Gear Expanded
New outfits and gear to expand the various law enforcement agencies & special police forces that would likely be in the area. Some vanilla textures have also been altered to improve quality and fix poor font choices.
Items can be found in various police stations around the map. Zombies also have a small chance to spawn wearing the uniforms.
– Will work on current saves though items wont spawn in areas you’ve already visited
– Performance friendly – all textures are at the vanilla resolution
– Authentic lore reason for dogs and guns being absent in Knox County
– There are no plans for a military version, plenty of mods already cover that
– Angled flashlights & radios can be attached to the vests in B42
– Works on Build 41 but not all items are available, see below
3 new variants of the Gas Mask (see images)
Tactical balaclava can be worn with almost all head gear. Gas mask / Helmet / Balaclava combo is now possible. NOTE: Remove the balaclava before washing yourself otherwise it will be deleted. Using the makeup body slot was the only way to make all of these items wearable together.
