HAMR Widowmaker [Nebulon Labs]
The Heavy Assault Multi Role Widowmaker (HAMR Widowmaker), is a folding wing VTOL jet concept designed as a multi-role fighter to go against ground, naval, and air targets. Ported from the XBOX Gallery, with multiple improvements to the logic system, better stability during VTOL, and better performance while out of VTOL, while being extremely maneuverable for an aircraft of this design.
Disclaimer: This blueprint is made with Mouse and Keyboard in mind. If you want it to work with controller properly, you will need to modify the XOR gates and AND gates to your desired control scheme, as well as remove the Pitch and Roll optimization system implemented for Keyboard & Mouse, which can be done by removing the two AND and XOR gates on the upper rear fuselage, and the two AND and XOR gates in the middle lower fuselage.
CONTROLS:
Thrust – Space (hold)
VTOL – Right CTRL (toggle)
Shift Rockets – Right Shift (toggle)
Fold Wings – Z (toggle)
Blasters – Left Click (hold)
Rockets – Right Click (hold)
Yaw – Q & E (hold)
Air Brake – 1 (toggle)
Thrust Deceleration – 2 (hold)
BONUS:
When you press Z to unfold the wings while pitching up (and the other way around), it essentially acts as a cobra maneuver, because of less drag on the horizontal axis half way through the transition. While this may be useful during dogfights, it can lead to massive speed bleed.
