Equestria in Space
Equestria in Space is a total conversion mod that aims to replace the planet and factions of Terra Invicta with setting a inspired by My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, some Them’s Fighting Herds. This is more than a visual replacement mod, it changes the core balance and adds new mechanics such as an 8th tech category and a new resource in the form of Magic. This is designed from the ground up as an overhaul mod. With a whole new world and lore, this is an alternative universe take on ponies and Terra Invicta.
This 1.0 release is focused on the ‘default’ faction the mod is set to, which is The Council (of Equestria). Story has only been finished for this faction and it is highly recommended to be the one that is played if they wish to see the new story.
For this mod to function you it requires BepInEx, the install instructions provided below (If you have previously installed this mod, a lot of the manual requirements have been removed, you will need to verify game files):

Download BepInEx 5.1 x64 from here:

Unzip the files into your Terra Invicta game directory, where the game .exe is.(Default:SteamsteamappscommonTerra Invicta)

Run Terra Invicta once. This should generate a folder named config inside the BepInEx folder.

Download MonoModLoader 1.0 from: https://github.com/BepInEx/BepInEx.MonoMod.Loader/releases/tag/v1.0.0.0
And unzip the files into your Terra Invicta game directory, merging with the existing BepInEx folder,

Find the "BepInEx" folder in Equestria in Space modfolder and copy it into your Terra Invicta game directory, merging with the existing BepInEx folder.
Core changes:
– A whole new planet with its own nations, relations and regions.
– Art for all leaders, councilors, nations and orgs replaced with custom assets.
– Changes to research leader, it is now a dice-roll weighted by each factions investment %.
– Factions have a more distinct role by beginning with a free org that has faction wide benefits in certain fields.
– Re-balance of organizations and resources. Higher value of Money early on. However, unequipped organizations have no cost, and equipping organizations is free, focus on using what you need.
– Councilor cost raised to 100/200 to make them more valuable and slow down the early character gain.
– Security now gives 2 Control Point value per attribute, Admin/Science/Persuasion no longer give any.
– Faster production of nuclear weapons, though few start with any and non with many. Nuclear Weapons had their damage output halved, with certain technologies increasing their damage.
-Magic as a resource added, mined by nations as a National Priority from regions that have the magic resource. At least one such source is needed in a nation to produce nuclear weapons (Mega-spells).
-Magic Technologies and category added, all about the exploitation and use of the new Magic resource.
-National Point defense priority removed (for the time being).
– Region defense damage reduced by 75%, regions are not replacements for armies, they only work to slow down an attacker.
– Rebalance to Missions:
Advise costs 0 Influence
Defend Interests cost 10 influence and gives a 15 (instead of 10) buff
Contact costs 0 Influence
Certain missions had their cost shifted from Influence to Ops, making it far more valuable a resource early on.
– Namelists for Spaceships, Spacestations, Characters(though some are pretty small, expect repeats for now, I welcome anyone to provide me their OC names to be added).
-To build new modules on habs you require an equivalent level of manufacturing module on the hab.(or in the same orbit for T1). Otherwise you are required to build all modules using boost.
-Spoils been heavily nerved while funding buffed.
-Characters can no longer level up individual attributes, instead leveling up in their core trait tree. Slower progression but more meaningful jumps in power.
Some cool numbers:
– 34 nations, 105 regions, names for armies and facilities for each region, 33 Custom flags
– Roughly 200 custom made organizations
– 81 custom councilor art assets, the same as my "Councilors" mod.
