Description:

[WOTC] Vocaloid Squadmate Pack

Update released (October 25th, 2017)

Attention: This update WILL break the girls’ customization[imgur.com]. You’ll need the Uniform Manager mod to fix them.

出現無法自定義的透明身體是意料中的情況。您可以裝一個 Uniform Manager mod 然後對角色適用一套uniform來解決這個問題;重新開新存檔當然也是解決辦法。

I’ve made a video showcasing the new outfits, as well as demostrating the bugfix: https://youtu.be/iAt0n8csul0

Also, please note that there is a new mod dependency: Empty WOTC Deco Slots for XCOM Soldiers.

New features in this update:

  • Customizable hair colour
  • Customizable armour colour as well as two sets of handmade pre-colored textures (black and white)
  • Latex suit
  • Better texture quality (1k->2k) without increasing memory footprint
  • The speakers around their waists can be hidden now
  • A pair of shoes.
  • Haku is here.
  • Physx enabled neck ties.

You may want to subscribe One Million Colours Plugin For WOTC for better control of colours.

Detail about the customization lockup bug

Since I have done a major overhaul to the mod, almost all the template name have changed. The problem is if a character is using a no-more-exist cosmetic piece (in other words, in an "invalid" state), game will get confused and completely lock up all the cosmetic options. This is how it looks like[imgur.com]

In order to fix that you need to "flash" the character’s invalid cosmetic state back into a valid one. Well, how can we do that if the game won’t allow us to change anything at the first place? Uniform manager comes to help. All you need to do is to apply a uniform to the glitched character and it will make the character customizable again.

Check the video above if you really can’t figure out how to use the Uniform Manager.

——————————————————–

This is the WOTC version of my character mods.

Short term goal:
Make her work with hero units. Done except for Skirmishers which requires a new inivislbe head mod.
Figure out if I should make seperate mods for different characters or make a bundle. I have decided that I’ll put all other characters into this mod, making it a bundle.
Update more characters to WoTC. All characters ported.
Make full use the new material system, such as emission tint and clear coat shader. I might as well take this chance to do a big overhaul of the whole project. I half-arsed too many things. Overhaul done.

How to use:
Subscribe the Invisible Head mod. Don’t worry. It works fine with the xpac.
Subscribe the invisible part for hero mod if you want to use her as a faction hero.
Change the face to invisible head.
Change hat/helmet to their heads.
Change the hair style.
Change the torso, legs and arms.
Change other parts to hidden if the character is a faction hero.
Done!

I’ll update more info and progress as I work on it. Leave a comment whether you like it or not and stay tuned if you’re interested. Please report bugs and anything you think can/need to improved. I have extremely limited time to spend in game and I need your help for bug-hunting
