Chimeras Of Sothoryos AGOT-LOV (SFW)
A Safe For Work version of the Chimeras Of Sothoryos mod for Crusader Kings III.
The main mod feature is the ability to research and then make your own Gogossi chimeras. Currently these are limited to two different MAA types and a flavoured character modifier. Mainly a proof of concept to see if anyone wants this sort of addon. I’m better at writing lore dumps than I am coding so lore will always come before gameplay.
Add a few special buildings to the Gogossi mainland as well as accompanying travel events for visiting them. The lore content is half and half- directly from the Game of Thrones wiki and expanded lore from other sources. As I’m still learning CK3 modding, more features will be added in at a later date if anyone ends up liking this addon. Everything included in the mod has been hijacked from the code of other mods authors far smarter than myself.
Current Content:
– Chimera Ritual Menu; Second pass done and coded much neater than before. See guide in mod folder for help.
– Red Tower: Second pass of travel events done.
– Gogossos: Second pass of travel events done.
– Blackstone Manor: First pass of travel events done
– High Wards: First pass of travel events started
– Four Unique MAA and Four unique artifacts that can be combined into a single artifact with all abilities of the others.
– Three Unique Special buildings, each with their own construction sequences for restoration.
Future Plans (Not in any order):
– Quick fix cleanups: Grammar, spelling, more backgrounds, custom MMA images ect…
– Not So Quick fix cleanups: Figure out why the Isle of Toads (And other locations) don’t appear where they actually are. This is tricky since it’s a bug already present in Legacy of Valyria.
– Dedicated ritual activity rather than a decision (Possibly hijacking the Legacy Of Valyria magic system if I can ever wrap my head around that beast.)
– Expanded travel events for the High Wards
– Additional travel location and events for the last county in Gogossos
– More chimera types corresponding to each travel location
– Gauge how much NSFW content there is in other mods to see if I can release the un-sanitised localisations to the Steam Workshop (Its all on the official Game of Thrones wiki already, but I want to be sure)
– Other content as requested in the comment section.
End Goal:
– Adding in the entirety of northern Sothoryos. The LOV of AGOT people might beat me to it so I’ll try keep a bead on how close those guys are to doing that region. They’ll probably do a better job.
