Legendary Boost
What this mod does (brief)
Reduces punishing gameplay and rewards players who persist in playing.
Greatly reduces how far players fall behind of alien development when tactical missions are failed, especially at the beginning of the game and especially during Legend Ironman playthroughs.
More specifically
- Start with 1 engineer. Greatly reduces the need to succeed in the first guerilla ops mission.
- Reduced starting avatar progress from 3 to 1
- Much less frequent avatar progress on the fortress/ocean facility
- Gain 1 supply and 1 alien alloy at the end of each mission for each surviving soldier even if the mission failed. Helps reduce the loss of failing the first supply raid mission and further rewards players deciding to evac to save soldiers for future missions.
Credits
The creator of the Flawless mod where I borrowed code, stripped it down and repurposed it to create the end mission rewards in this mod.
Potential Issues
I haven’t tested these but suspect can happen
- Avatar project modifiers may not work correctly if other subscribed mods also change the same thing.
