India Extended
Adds more provinces to the Indian Subcontinent. Makes the region more historical and fun to play.
Other Features –
* Tributary state diplomatic action enabled for all Indian Nations.
* Animism dotted accross India to represent Tribal Folk Religions.
* Sikhism is restricted to pop up in North-West India only. Not in Indonesia like in Original Game.
* Hinduism as well as Islam can be propagated by Trade.
* Buddha personal deity gives +25% religious tolerance but -100% missionary strength.
* Indian Muslim nation AI converts atleast one province before switching to Brahmin Autonomy.
* Guaranteed Brahmin Autonomy prevents conversion of Animism, Theravada and Vajrayana Provinces as well and gives no penalty.
* Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians may be found in the West Coast. You may chose to convert them or be converted by their rebels to have an interesting gameplay.
* Culture Groups re-organised to represent more accurate differences with fleshed out subgroups.
* Historical Trade Goods distributed in all provinces.
* Adam’s Bridge shallow rocks do not allow ships to pass through. Go around Sri Lanka.
* Focus on strategic choke points from major hills like Western Ghats, Eastern Ghats and Satpura Range.
* Island Forts of Diu and Janjira are now defendable by the help of Navy.
* Coastal sea tiles of the size comparable to the ones in European Continent, smaller than vanilla.
* Obviously Province Shapes are slightly adjusted so their adjacencies may vary a bit.
* Some nations given historical cores to simulate AI to regain them.
* Some nations territories are adjusted for balance and to stimulate real history.
* Two ongoing wars of 1444.
* Some nation names are changed to reflect their identity better. Many new nations added.
* Many of the vassals have been converted to Tributary States to better reflect the fact that they were independent states and will likely remain longer without getting simply annexed by AI.
* None of the original provinces is removed. Only new provinces are added. All of the areas and regions are also retained including trade centres. This is to ensure all missions granting and checking areas will remain functional. (May add more missions in future too)
* Some of the original provinces are renamed to remove directional prefix or too generic name.
* Expect more coalitions to form against you while you expand into more number of territories.
* Fixes to some incorrectly placed unit sprites of smaller nations and mercenaries in the base game.
* Few New Mercenaries recruitable.
Perhaps a few little other changes here and there which I may not have mentioned.
Mod is meant to be played in 1444 start only.
