Saruman’s Patch: VFE Classical + Roman Equipment
As Romepilled Romaboo I absolutely love Vanilla Factions Expanded – Classical
What I don’t love is the fact that this faction use tribal wear for it’s pawns
Absolutely Barbaric!
So that is why I’ve decided to combine VFEC with absolutely breathtaking Roman Equipment mod.
So, what does this patch do?
- Force all Republic pawns to wear tunica. No more ugly, barbaric tribal wear!
- Change Toga to Outer layer. It was weared over tunica, as depicted on illustration.
- Move all armor added by Roman Equipment to corresponding technologies.
- Disable all armor added by VFEC as not fitting from artstyle point of view. Special buff provided by Centurion armor is moved to Centurion Lorica Hamata and Lorica Musculata from Roman Equipment.
- Rework all combat pawns from VFEC to use armor from Roman Equipment. Town Guard now use spears instead of daggers, clubs or whatever barbaric sticks they used before.
- Add two new combat pawns – Optio and Tribune. The first is roughly the same as ordinary Centurio but with funny helmet, while Tribune has more swag.
Have fun restoring the glory that was Rome in Romeworld Rimworld!
