Secret Society: Trade Route Expanders
Introduction:
- A new secret society: Trade Route Expanders. They focus on trade routes and expansion.
- GS and Ethiopia Pack are required, and the new Secret Society only appears under GS ruleset.
Governor Promotions:
- Silk Road:
Unlocked by sending an Envoy to a City-State. Allows you to construct the Headquarter building. All units receive +1 sight, but cannot found a city in inland tiles outside the territory. Gain +2 Trade Route Capacity, 1 Settler and 2 Traders. Get the unowned tiles that your Trader passes through within 8 tiles of your city. - Maritime Silk Road:
Unlocked in Medieval Era. Instantly gains the cartography technology. Trader units gain +15 range over water. When a Trader is on land or water, gain correspondingly +1 Great Merchant or Great Admiral Point each turn. -20% cost when purchasing Traders. - Age of Discovery:
Unlocked in Industrial Era. Traders gain +1 Influence Point and +1 Diplomatic Favor per turn if they are in friendly territory. Cities with both markets and lighthouses gain +1 Trade Route capacity. Light Cavalry or Naval Melee units protect Traders within 8 tiles from being plundered. - Globalization:
Unlocked in Atomic Era. +1 Economic policy slot. Your Trade Routes receive +25% Yield. Your Trade Routes generate +1 Science and +1 Culture for every 5 tiles they travel.
Unique Building: Headquarter
Unique tier 1 building of the Government Plaza. 50% increased Production toward Traders in this City, and gain a Settler when getting a Trader. New cities receive a free Builder. Awards +1 Governor Title.
