LW2 Operator Class
This mod adds a custom class called the Operator.
The concept of the Operator is based upon modern day special forces and I wanted the Operator to be aggressive, mobile and adaptable. The class is a combat focused class and can do a bit of everything where combat is involved but can also specialise into one of two clear roles. The Close Assault branch of abilities turns the Operator into a close combat specialist who can utilise flashbangs to clear out groups of enemies at close range. The Pathfinder branch of abilities take the Operator down a stealth focused route where he can strike from concealment. The perks in the middle of the perk tree provide some defensive abilities with a couple of other perks I hope make interesting alternatives to those of the two specific paths available. The Operator is equipped with an assault rifle or SMG and combat knife. There are 16 custom perks in the mod which I’ve detailed below:
Bounding Fire – Any shot taken as your second action after moving as your first confers a +10 aim bonus.
Close Assault
Flash Out – Activate this ability before throwing or launching a flashbang grenade, and the throw will not cost an action.
Lethal Force – You do two additional points of base damage with your primary weapon to targets within 8 tiles. Passive.
Hard Yards – Activate this ability to shrug off 75% of reaction fire damage for the rest of your turn. 2 turn cooldown.
No Prisoners – You deal an additional +2 damage to stunned or disorientated enemies with your primary weapon.
Sting Grenades
Rapid Fire
Breach And Clear – When this ability is activated your actions will be refunded each time a stunned or disorientated enemy is killed. 4 turn cooldown.
Centre
Sentry – Grants +10 Aim and Covering Fire on Overwatch and allows overwatch shots to do critical damage. Passive.
Settled Shot – Special shot that requires both action points but has a +25 crit chance and deals +3 damage on succesful critical hits. 2 turn cooldown.
Raptor – You get an additional +25 Crit chance against targets at a lower elevation. Passive.
Target Down – When you get a kill, you gain +20 defence until the end of the next alien turn. Passive.
Tactical Sense
Hold Position – From full cover take a reaction shot against any enemy that moves or attacks within your vision until you run out of ammo. 4 turn cooldown.

Pathfinder
Phantom
Hidden Killer – While concealed or flanking your target, you deal +2 damage with your primary weapon. Passive.
Shadow – Gain +3 Mobility and +10 Aim while concealed. Passive.
Stealth Shot – Fire a shot whilst concealed with a +50 crit chance bonus. If you kill your target maintain concealment. 5 turn cooldown.
Tradecraft
Ghost – While concealed, enemy detection range against this unit is half that of a normal soldier.
Wraith – Whenever you kill an enemy, critical hits will restore concealment.

Secondly I want to thank Xylthium and his XModBase which have been a huge help in making this mod. I believe I also borrowed the code for one ability from Favid’s PerkPack so Favid is due an acknowledgement too.
I’d also like to mention all the other custom class creators who have uploaded their own work. I’ve spent so much time looking at the code for so many different classes trying to figure out how to make things work I can barely remember where I started.
