Welcome to Golden Isles International Speedway V1.2
Golden Isles was the first of its kind in Garry’s Mod. Groundbreaking for the Daytona inspired track started in early 2017 by good friend and companion Captain Cowboy, formally known as Bunny Buddy. The track has seen many events through its days and has undergone many construction updates. Recently the surface was pulled up and repaved for the Garry’s Mod racers out there. Along with the repave, the road course got some love and received an overhaul as well. The grandstands were demolished and rebuilt from the ground up, besides the tower. Pit road was thinned out and a new wall and catch fence was installed to the facility. A few other features were added to the track and a few taken away. A big performance and optimization sweep was done to the track bringing a big performance gain with it.
The track is meant for NASCAR style racing and also for GT and/or Sports Car racing along the infield road course. The main reason for the roadcourse revamp was for the TSCC/GLMS deciding they would utilize the track if it undergone a road course update.
