Technology Based Warfare
This mod changes the base combat values of units to get more benefits from the researched technology. In the case of the Civ6 damage formula, a strength difference of 26+ can result in a one-shot-kill, and a difference of 36+ guarantees a one-shot-kill. Given the promotions, for example, a tank from the modern era may not kill a Pikeman from the medieval era. This simple mod fixes that.
FYI:
- Compatible with all DLC.
- Zombies Defense Mode: The mutation formula hasn’t changed, so this mod makes the DLC easier to play.
- It should be compatible with any unit mods.
- Nihang units can get more promotion, but the Encampment-based +15 modifier remains the same.
- You can easily change the modifier strength of either the individual attack types (Combat, RangedCombat, AntiAirCombat and Bombard) in the UnitCombat.sql file
You can also modify the multiplier if you want (or change any mod in the same way):
The unit modifiers are included in a comment in the UnitCombat.sql, in case someone wants to set them individually. In this case, the unit mod’s unit must be added to this SQL file for compatibility.
