MQ-9 Reaper
The MQ-9 Reaper is an American single-engined pusher turboprop UACV developed and produced by General Atomics. It is a High-altitude long endurance (HALE) drone and widely regarded as the first hunter-killer UAV put into service in any country. The drone was adopted for service in 2007, replacing its predecessor, the MQ-1 which had served in wars ranging from the Balkans to the Middle East, solidifying the proof of concept of the “predator drone.” The MQ-9 can be armed with a multitude of ordnance, though it is primarily seen with a complement of 4 AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and 2 GBU-12 Paveway II laser-guided bombs. The MQ-9 now has many improved iterations and continues to serve as the primary UACV in the arsenals of the US and a number of other countries.
Unfortunately, there are some limitations. One, the character’s head sticks out slightly, an issue I cannot resolve since the fuselage is simply not tall enough anywhere (now only applies to AI). Two, the GBU-12 Paveway II can be guided to fire upwards even though that shouldn’t be possible in real life lol.
