Unlock the ability to play as any government type in Crusader Kings II, including traditionally restricted ones like Chinese Imperial, Merchant Republics, and even Theocratic Papacies! Whether you want to rule as a Pope, dominate as a Barony, or take control of China’s imperial throne, this mod opens the door to all possibilities.
This mod is designed to break the usual barriers of gameplay, allowing you to experience CK2 in entirely new ways. It provides full access to every government type while ensuring compatibility with most game mechanics.
Playable Chinese Imperial government.
Control over Theocratic governments, including the Papacy.
Access to Merchant Republics and other restricted government types.
Unlock all lower-tier governments such as Baronies.
Please note that while this mod is fully functional, there are still some bugs and balancing issues that we are working to fix in future updates. For example:
Some AI behaviors may act unpredictably when interacting with non-standard governments.
Certain unique mechanics (e.g., elections in republics or papal succession) may behave oddly.
Compatibility with heavily modded setups is not guaranteed.
We are actively working on improving the mod, and your feedback is greatly appreciated.
Place the mod files in your mod folder.
Activate the mod in the CK2 launcher.
Start a new game and enjoy the freedom to choose any government!
