Greco-Norman is a custom culture mod created for Norman characters within the Byzantine Empire. It is recommended for the 1066 start dates due to the spread of Norman influence and notary during this era.

The Sicilian Expedition seeks to expand and flesh out Greco-Norman content in Sicily.

  • Parent culture Norman. (A Norman vassel will not see their liege as a foreigner.)
  • Disinherit from blinding.

  • The de Hervé twins. Both can be found in the court of Naples in the 1066 start dates.

  • Cut off sword-arm punishment. Similar to the disinherit from blinding that the Greek culture has.
  • Develop navel culture bonus’ to create the impression of Eastern sea-fairing Normans a boat ride away from targets such as the Holy Land and Alexandria.
  • The decision to construct ship artifacts for characters with the Greco-norman culture.
