Imagine a world where the German Empire emerged victorious in World War I. The Treaty of Versailles never happened, and instead, Germany dictated peace terms to a shattered France and Britain. This is the world of Kaiserreich, an alternate history scenario that explores the consequences of a Central Powers victory.
Europe in Chaos
Instead of peace, Europe is a battleground of ideology and ambition. The German Empire stands as the dominant superpower, ruling over a vast Mitteleuropa economic bloc. Yet, its grip is fragile—internal divisions and rising unrest threaten to undo its victory.
France, humiliated and broken after defeat, has fallen to radical syndicalism. The Commune of France, ruled by revolutionaries, seeks to spread its workers’ revolution across Europe.
Britain, also struck by socialist uprisings, saw its monarchy flee to Canada. The British Isles are now controlled by the Union of Britain, another syndicalist state challenging the old order.
Russia, once a mighty empire, collapsed into chaos after the Bolsheviks were defeated. Now under a fragile republic, it struggles to reclaim its lost influence while fending off German-backed states in Eastern Europe.
Austria-Hungary, though still standing, is barely holding itself together. Ethnic tensions and political instability threaten to tear it apart from within.
Italy, due to sufferings in the First World War has entered a bloody civil war where still fire rages within. In the south, the Kingdom of Two Sicilies taking advantage of the chaos in the north has taken control.
With Germany’s dominance, revolutionary movements, and nationalist uprisings colliding, Europe is a ticking time bomb. The stage is set for a second great conflict—one that could redefine the world once again.
