Description:

Hey guys, this is a creature content mod to add in my own personal creatures into the world of Rimworld!
This is very early in its development. As such only one creature has been added so far. It is mostly functional, but we need to get test runs done so we can tweek the mechanics and make it more fun and less tedius.
The creature currently can be spawned using the dev tool "Spawn Pawn" but we need your help to confirm it can spawn naturally as an advanced Anomaly!
We also need your help testing its mechanics, finding bugs, and suggestions to make it more fun, or fine tune any tedious problems.

If you discover a bug or if something is too tedious, please post it in this page comments and reports!

And please share your mod list so we know what the conditions are for your bugs!

This is currently version 0.3.1

Fixes and addons To Do List:

* Bug: Saving the game while there is a docile Rift Stalker Present, then loading that save causes the Rift Stalker to trigger a permanent Invisibility effect (Hazy transparency)
* Bug: Rift stalker is unable to be healed while captured.
* Bug: Rift Stalker Spams the message "The Rift Stalker has fully healed!"
* Bug: The Rift stalker can be fed dragons from Dragons Descent for some reason.
* Bug: Log Error "ERR: A Rift Stalker" Specifically occurs the moment a pawn is digested and destroyed. [Fixed next update]
* Bug: Unable to be trained. "Animal is Busy" message when attempted. Currently looking into what should be the best behavior.

* Quirk: The rift stalker, if leaping to devour a pawn, and that pawn is currently feeding or directly adjacent to anything else such as another pawn or an animal, the adjacent pawn or animal is eaten instead.
* Quirk: Chasing it down, getting 1 or 2 shots in, then it runs off where you have to search for it again. This is very Tedious. We need to think of a better mechanic.
* * [Current solution: EMP weapons to stun Rift Stalker to make it spit out eaten pawn and stay still briefly to be shot at.]
* Quirk: Very much prefers facing north when swallowing a pawn. It seems to land just south of what it is attacking and faces north to eat the pawn.

* Feature: The ability to Heal the Rift Stalker while it is captured on the Holding Platform.
* Feature: The ability to re-capture a docile Rift Stalker.
* Feature: The ability to study a docile Rift Stalker that is not on the holding platform.

* Change: Cooldown before eating a pawn again after being stunned, to prevent it from immediately re-eating the escaped pawn.

— Down the line possible ideas —

* Sprites for PawnMorpher Compatibility.

Side Effects with other Mods Noted:
* The "Needs bar Overflow" allows for the Rift Stalker to reach roughly 600% food after eating one pawn. This effectively makes it easier to keep docile, as you do not need to feed it as often as Vanilla (100% max) [Recommended]
* The dragons in "Dragons Descent" can be fed to the Rift Stalker, for some reason. There is no sprite for this, but I am debating if this should be left as is.
* The mod "Stabilize" Will allow you to stabilize a downed Rift Stalker. However, it seems it will immediately stand back up if you do so.
