CE-Only

For the sake of the game’s TPS performance, I have not fully replicated the "massive fragmentation" setting for all ammunition. Some of them require pre-mod(links at the bottom)
New fragments produced by the new ammo will not get unlimited flight distance

Existing ammunition will be annotated below the ammunition type name

:

AHEAD(TODO)

: 30×173 PMC308, 35×228 PMD062
If your turret has CIWS capability, a single AHEAD round can intercept incoming projectiles or supply pods. (For gameplay and management simplicity, these use normal ammunition instead of a dedicated AmmoSet)

HE Proximity/Time-Fuzed(TODO)

: 30x113mmB XM1211, 30×173 MK310
Also effective in CIWS. I’ve increased their engagement altitude and configured fragmentation to disperse in a forward cone. When firing at walls, the delayed fuse ensures airburst detonation on the opposite side

Guided Missile:

In addition to these ammunition types, I’ve also added guidance patches to all missiles in the RimThunder series, giving them guided capabilities. At the same time, I’ve implemented a proximity fuze patch for the 125mm 3OF26 and 120mm HE

Multi-Purpose:

API(cermet core):

It is equivalent to a Sabot with bullet damage and penetration that falls between that of a standard Sabot and an API, while also incorporating incendiary damage

FAP(Frangible Armour Piercing):

Each FAP round is armed with a penetrator consisting of individual frangible heavy metal pellets and heavy metal sub-projectiles. After penetrating the target envelope, the heavy metal pellets disintegrate into multiple fragments

FAPDS(Frangible Armour Piercing Discarding Sabot):

FAPDS can be simply regarded as FAP with higher penetration capability. Similar to FAP, the design objective of this ammunition type is to engage both hard and soft targets

PELE(Penetrator with Enhanced Lateral Effect):

PELE is a new type of ammunition without a fuse or explosive. The combination of two materials with different densities causes the shell to disintegrate in the target zone without the need for an explosive charge or fuse

HEI (High Explosive Incendiary):

This type of ammunition combines high-explosive and incendiary functions, and I have also endowed it with a modest kinetic penetration capability (Bullet damage), rather than solely relying on blast, burn, and fragmentation effects.Enemies will not carry HEI rounds

SAP(Se-mi Armour Piercing)

This type of ammunition combines semi-armor-piercing and high-explosive capabilities (some also incorporate incendiary functions), primarily designed to engage lightly armored targets and soft targets

STUN(Non-lethal Flashbang Grenade):

Enemies will not carry STUN rounds

HESH(High Explosive Squash Head):

90mm(DM502/T142E3),105x617mmR(DM512/M393A2)

This is a type of ammunition designed to penetrate armored targets by creating a shockwave upon impact, rather than piercing through the armor. It is commonly used in anti-fortification missions

Smoke WP(Smoke filled with White Phosphorus):

Enemies will not carry Smoke WP rounds.

APFSDS(Armor-Piercing Fin-Stabilized Discarding Sabot):

100x695mmR(M1000A1),105x617mmR(M1060CV),120mm(DM73)

APFSDS is a type of kinetic energy penetrator ammunition used primarily in tank guns to defeat armored targets. The projectile consists of a dense penetrator, usually made of a heavy metal such as tungsten or depleted uranium

In the game, it can continue to propel fragments forward after hitting a target, which distinguishes it from the Sabot ammunition in CE

HE-OR-T(120mm M908):
The M908 is a modified version of the M830A1 HEAT-MP round, with its proximity fuse removed and replaced by a steel nose cone for destroying concrete barriers.

Cluster:

A cluster munition is a weapon consisting of a container or dispenser from which many submunitions or bomblets are scattered over wide areas

Extended Range Howitzer Shell:

155mm(excluding airburst rounds)
These extended-range shells can be used with artillery from the Fortification series mod

I have simplified their in-game implementation by reducing their damage by 10% or limiting their effective range, in exchange for a 100-tile range on the world map and faster flight speed. Enemies will not carry extended range rounds

Shrapnel:

Shrapnel is a type of munition designed to release a large number of high-speed metal fragments or Pellets over a target area

Flechette:

57mm S5S Rocket
You can consider this type of ammunition as shrapnel with the pellets replaced by a large number of flechettes.Enemies will not carry Flechette shells / rockets

Canister:

Cannon-launched canister shot is primarily used for close-range anti-light target missions. It is similar to traditional shotgun ammunition but larger in size and more powerful in impact, typically fired from artillery or tank guns. The canister shot contains a multitude of pellets within its body

Upon firing, the pellets disperse in a fan-shaped pattern, creating a wide-area coverage
