TAM – Tanque Argentino Mediano
TAM medium tank was the first domestically produced tank in Argentina, based on German made Marder IFV.
Introduced a year after Malvinas/Falklands War in 1983, It saw it’s first service in the Argentinian peacekeeping operation during the war in Yugoslavia.
With over 280 units made in multiple configurations, it is the most common tank used by Argentinian army.
