Berkshire Pack
—–===== HISTORY =====—–
Berkshire is the name given to locomotives with a 2-8-4 wheel arrangement, which was pioneered by Lima Locomotive Works and built by several other locomotive manufacturers. They could be found on railroads like the Boston and Albany Railroad, ATSF, Nickel Plate Road, Pere Marquette, and the Chesapeake & Ohio. While most examples of the type were scrapped, they were preserved by the Pere Marquette, NKP and the C&O, and 3 locomotives from those railroads were restored to operating condition for excursion service, those being: PM 1225, NKP 765, and C&O 2716. Of these locomotives, 1225 and 765 still run today, and while 2716 has been retired, it is being restored once again. The 1225 was also the basis for the locomotive in the Polar Express book and movie.

All tenders: Rear light (L).

Hey there folks, sorry it’s been so long. At least I’m making content again, right? Anyway, here’s a rough order of what I want to do next:
1. UP Steam Power at Speed Pack (redux of my UP excursion pack, with 3 additional locomotives, 2 additional livery variants and 4 auxiliary tenders.)
2. NYC Ghosts of the Rails Pack (various NYC Hudsons + Niagara redux)
3. AC-12 Redux
4. USRA Standard Light Pack (ideally light 2-8-2, light 4-6-2, light 2-10-2, light 4-8-2 + 0-6-0 and 0-8-0
5. USRA Standard Heavy pack (ideally heavy 2-8-2, heavy 4-6-2, heavy 2-10-2, heavy 4-8-2 + 2-6-6-2 and 2-8-8-2)
While I will have a lot of free time until late january, these packs are very large projects, so they will most likely take a long time to complete. So, I will ask you all to PLEASE be patient. Do NOT keep asking me about them, they will be out as soon as they possibly can. Thank you.
