Vanilla factories are good at generating a single type of resource if you want to focus on it. i.e. hypercoils for cash.

My existing super factory mod is meant to streamline general resource building in a nicer way and to save space. It also generates any ammo needed which gives it versatility. It requires a lot of material building research though.

This mod is based on alien technology that is intended to crunch down resources on a smaller mining vessel but it doesnt really perform well sustained output-wise. It works well in bursts to compact down resources while taking very little space.
It is INCOMPATIBLE with normal plasma batteries or other charging methods from mods. It generates its own energy slowly but does have good energy storage. The thing pulses based on its available energy chage.
Being alien you do not have to research each material, just a single standalone blueprint. It is pretty expensive but very compact… plus it can also generate any ammo you may need. Just keep in mind that a superfactory will have a much better output rate over time.
