Avatar Ruler
Adds in a fourth ruler that kicks in at the maximum force level (ie at the endgame of your campaigns). This requires a new game to take effect.
Added Perfected Avatar to exclusion list so it wouldn’t be accidentally erased by Long War 2.
The Perfected Avatar, in addition to the base ruler stuff (Ie escape gates + the reactions) and innate Avatar abilities (except for Regeneration and Teleportation), also has:
Psi Confusion (based off LWS’s Mass Mindspin), enables the ruler to disorient, panic, or stun a lot of your team in one-go.
Stasis and Sustain, works just like it does for your psi-ops.
Cataclysm, basically its own variation on Schism, allows all of its psionic abilities except Mind Control to apply the Rupture effect to targets, enabling them to be wounded for 4 additional damage per hit.
Fortress, again, works just like it does for your psi-ops.
Your reward for killing this thing is access to its corpse and psi amp, which lets you unlock:
The Avatar Psi Amp, increases a user’s psi strength by 80 and gives them access to Mind Control and Psi Confusion. This can be built multiple times, but as noted, it’s a finite item and costs *a lot* to make. You automatically gain a free one after autopsying the Perfected Avatar.
The Psi Armour, increases a user’s will by 30, Mobility by 3, HP by 8, and has 2 armour points. Also gives a user Sustain, Fortress, and Bastion (this perk being LWS’s Bastion perk). Bastion applies the effects of Fortress to nearby teammates.
Note that this was made mainly as an example of how additional alien rulers could be added to the game, and there’s limitations with how I did it (ie it would conflict with any other additional alien ruler mods, and would probably require an All The Enemies equivalent in order to function.). The AI of the Perfected Avatar is also basic, since the AI code of the game comes off as Early Modern English to me. If anybody’s willing to help contribute, I’ll gladly credit you and even list you as a contributor if it’s a big enough contribution (ie like a rewrite)
FOR LW2:
LW2 nerfs ruler reactions and insteads have them work like normal enemies a lot of the time, this requires them having action points.
