After almost 3 months.. Its finally here.
After few months in development I am proud to present my new ARMA 3 WW2 Campaign called World at war.I hope its worth the wait.
So.After a long time of making "modern era" campaigns I have decided to go back to the old school WW2. In this campaign you will play as an member of 506th regiment/101st airborne division – Lt.Johnson.You will participate in the airborne operations over Normadny,Holland and then you will push to Germany.
This campaign is based on real and historical events like airborne landings over Normandy,St Mere Eglise, Attack on the Brecourt manor and Carentan.While the campaing is based on historical events its mostly only inspired by these events and its 100 percent historically accurate.Equipment used by US units is also not 100 percent accurate.
War was not fought by one man alone. There are 9 other members in your squad. You can use special abillities of Medic and Weapon expert. Medic can heal you at any time and weapon expert can refill your ammo – If you have enough space in your inventory.If you want to use the special abilities of Medic and Weapon expert just go close to them and select "Heal at medic" or "Rearm at weapon expert" action. You can also reset your whole squad by using the "RESET SQUAD" action button.
The development of this campaign started in November 2021 so after 3 months the version 1.1 is online.The new patches and bugfixes will be released periodically until everything thats bad will be fixed.
