This mod will not work with the War of The Chosen DLC.

About

The CPU is an offensive class, based on the idea of chaining their squaddie skill ‘HDD’ into other skills, powering them up and increasing their chance of hitting. Although CPUs have low HP growth, they also have the option to gain survival skills to ensure they live to fight another battle.

This is my first custom class so if any bugs are spotted, I’ll look into fixing them. Any ideas about skills changes to make the class fair in comparison to the vanilla classes are also welcome. This is designed to be a risk/reward class.

Can gain 1 AWC Perk. (Notice Phantom in the screenshot as an example)

Skill Breakdown

Squaddie

HDD

Costs 15 Defence (That only recovers at the start of your next turn!). Gain +2 Damage, +20 Aim and +25 Critical rate. This skill can be used for a flat boost or combined with other skills.
Cooldown of 2 turns. Free Action point cost.

Corporal

[Faith Tree] Swiftness

Gain 2 additional points to the mobility stat. This is a permanent, passive stat boost.

[Leadership Tree] Prioritize

Mark a target (Advent captain’s ability) giving you, and the rest of the squad +10 Aim on the target.
Cooldown of 2 turns. Costs 1 action point.

Sergeant

[Faith Tree] Smite

Pistol attack that causes the enemy to panic. This ability cannot deal any damage (Including when buffed by HDD but can gain aim boost).
Cooldown of 3 turns. Ends turn when used.

[Leadership Tree] Part Break

Standard primary weapon attack that has the added benefit of removing enemy armor (Maximum of 6 points).
Can be chained from HDD.
Cooldown of 2 turns. Costs 2 Ammo. Ends turn when used.

Lieutenant

[Faith Tree] Share Blast

Powerful blast of energy that deals primary weapon damage in a long, thin area in front of the user. Can destroy cover. Can also gain +2 damage from HDD.
Cooldown of 3 turns. Ends turn when used. 3 Ammo used.

[Leadership Tree] Nep Bull
Self-use beverage that restores 4 health points to the user.
2 Uses per battle. Uses 1 action point.

Captain

[Faith Tree] Implacable

Vanilla skill.

[Leadership Tree] Untouchable

Vanilla skill.

Major

[Faith Tree] Sentient

Ends the unit’s turn with an additional +10 points of armor until the start of the next turn. Good in an emergency.
Cooldown of 4 turns.

[Leadership Tree] Patience

Attack that deals +2 bonus damage and is guaranteed to hit. Can gain a further +2 from HDD.
Cooldown of 3 turns. Ends the units turn.

Colonel

[Faith Tree] Warp

Allows the user to warp to a selected location, ignoring overwatch fire. If used as the unit’s first action, can perform 1 more action after warping.
Cooldown of 4 turns. Costs 1 action point.

[Leadership Tree] Next Gen

Fire a pistol attack at every target visible to the user. First target is also stunned for their next turn if hit. Can be chained with HDD.
Cooldown of 4 Turns. Ends the unit’s turn.

GTS: Histy’s Training

Gains a simple +10 to critical chance. This is a passive boost.
