Chicago & Northwestern H12 Open Hopper
When you think of the Chicago and Northwestern, Four things come to mind, Left Hand running, Grain Trains, the 400s, and Coal Trains. Until now, CNW’s lifeline of coal from the Powder River Basin has been unable to be recreated.
This pack includes 4 schemes, as delivered black and black with white ends, and then both dark and light green with yellow ends, coming from the refresh these hoppers had in the 1980s.
Today these hoppers can still be found rolling the rails of North America, although not in CNW reporting marks, these hoppers continue to see use to this day.
