UCH Nepenthes C-301
Introduction:
– The Nepenthes C-301 is a light combat capital vessel that has been apart of the UCH fleet for nearly a century. Long before the Humans came to the Andromeda system, this fighter was used as a patrol vessel quelling rebel incursions from off-world colonies, breaking apart large asteroids, and used in general space law enforcement.
Role:
– This combat vessel is intended for early-mid stage combat and is purely dedicated to combat. It is not self sufficient whatsoever, and is a short-range combat fighter reliant on an accompanying fleet. The Nepenthes is extremely agile, and is only intended for space combat. It has landing capabilities, but is not intended to take into atmosphere.
Information:
– The forward section of the Nepenthes is heavily armored, containing a decoy thruster, generator, and core. The armoured wings protect the soft central section. It also contains light armouring on the rear to protect from flanking drones.
– The bridge on the Nepenthes is closed off inside the hull and doesn’t offer any visuals from within. Captains and their crew must use third person in order to navigate.
– The Nepenthes contains automated defense controls from any accessible control panel. Simply pushing cntrl+alt+1 will activate shields, system alarms, and automated drone defense.
Upgrading:
– As it stands the base Nepenthes straight from factory contains no weapons, and requires installation upon construction.

– The Nepenthes supports heavy armour upgrading where its captain deems feasible. However, be aware this will impact manoeuvrability.
Naming Conventions:
– C-301 is the default designation for UCH Capital vessels. Beginning at 301 as the first iteration, each predecessor will increment in value. Ex. C-301 -> C-302, etc.
Notes:
– This vessel was designed to be RE2 compatible.
