WildSpawn – A Progression: Agriculture Preset
This mod adds wild-spawning plants from numerous mods to various biomes.
WildSpawn was designed with mods like Progression: Agriculture or SeedsPlease in mind, as a way to ensure that most starts and scenarios have access to a few fruits and vegetables, something that can be processed into a drug or alcohol, a couple of flowers, and a couple of utility crops (cloth, grain, condiments, etc). The idea is not for there to be enough wild food for you to sustain a colony, but for you to be able to find enough to make seeds, start your own farms, and engage with the other systems in your mod list without feeling held back by your inability to find the right seed bundles for sale or reward.
In addition, to fit with the spirit of "progression," Medieval Overhaul users will find their alchemy plants are now scattered across many biomes instead of all of them being available in every cool-to-temperate biome. Only one of the five herbal medicines (including healroot!) remain available in each. Medicine changes are ONLY made if MO is present; healroot is not touched unless there’s something to replace it with.
Complete "coverage" will require numerous mods, but those who are missing some mods don’t need to worry; there are no hard requirements here, but I didn’t put in backup crops, so you won’t have a full selection either.
Full details about plants added follow below. If you disagree with any of my choices, or you want to cover different biomes or use different mods to cover them, I recommend the excellent Choose Wild Plant Spawns mod to tweak everything to your liking. This mod is just an easy install-and-go preset designed with Ferny’s Progression Modpack in mind.

Note: Forage crops (Berries, Agave, etc) are not listed here, but they’re still present and untouched. Fruit trees added by VPE were not altered, but they’re included here for reference. Sorry, you still have to get lucky to find Devilstrand!
