Cold waters – Battle of the white sea
It’s June 30th, 1985. Urgent intelligence from a defector has revealed the approximate location of a hostile submarine lurking dangerously close to our home waters. Tasked with safeguarding these critical sea lanes, you are ordered to hunt down and eliminate this threat. Inclement weather renders passive sonar nearly useless, forcing reliance on active sonar from your surface escorts and sonobuoys deployed from overhead aircraft. The sweep must be coordinated to ensure mission success.
