Helpful Pals
Graphic design is NOT my passion.
An animal mod that adds pals from Palworld. Like in the original, they will (sometimes) do work around your colony depending on the pal and I tried to be as accurate as possible for what I’m limited in doing with xml and what’s available in vanilla Rimworld. For example: Cattiva, Lamball, and Flambelle will both haul and clean around your colony, but Cattiva can also mine while Flambelle can cook (just watch out for food poisoning-). Pals have to be trained first, however.
Some animal behaviors from Vanilla Expanded Framework have also been added. Example: Caprity can grow and drop berries, Flambelle and other future fire pals can refuel torches, campfires, etc (compatibility patches will be added later) while Flambelle specifically doesn’t leave behind filth, and future electric pals will be able to charge batteries when they come near them.
Some pals (currently just Flambelle) can also drastically affect room temperature, so make sure to plan their living spaces around that.
What pal is included at the moment is listed below.
Cattiva, Lamball, Chikipi, Caprity, Flambelle, Gumoss, Mozzarina (just there for milk)
Wumpo (both original and botan), Dazzi (directional sprites and corpse finished. originally was gonna be part of the original set but decided to add them at a later date. kinda forgot I had the sprites already when I already started working on wumpo so…guess next update is gonna have three pals now!)
For a more abstract idea of what pals i wanna include in the near future: more dangerous and predatory pals (like relaxaurus or incineram), and water pals (I’m considering them being able to refill passive coolers and a slight temperature change compared to ice and fire pals, a nice little middle ground)

I don’t have the ambition or need. I will add more when I feel inspired to and want to, but I do not make promises to include every pal. This was just something fun I was doing alongside other stuff, but hey, anyone is free to make add-ons for more pals too if they don’t feel like waiting for the chance of me adding their faves in.
