Toad
Hailing from the mushroom kingdom, Toad arrives into the world of Rivals of Aether! Borrowing the abilities from his most recent debut, Super Mario Wonder, Toad is a quick and all-fundies fighter that can turn the tides when situations get dire!
Neutral Special: Bubble blow
Using the bubble flower, Toad blows a bubble in front of himself! If it hits an opponent, they will briefly get trapped in an inescapable bubble! This allows Toad to put some high pressure on the opponent, but be quick with your combo! If you don’t make it in time the opponent can immediately act after getting out of the bubble!
-Toad can also bounce on the bubble for some vertical reach!
Forward Special: Grappling Vine Badge
Throw a grappling tether forward! If you catch an opponent, you’ll fling towards them and bounce off of them! If you tether onto a wall, you’ll stick to the wall for a brief period of time!
Down Special: Drill Ground-Pound
Using the drill mushroom, jump upwards and ground-pound! If you land onto the ground, you’ll BURY into it and can move while under the ground! Be quick though, as you aren’t invincible while doing this. After some time (or pressing attack) you’ll jump back out of the ground!
Up Special: Parachute Cap Badge
Use a parachute cap to float over your enemies! You can attack out of this move, but you’ll go into pratfall. Press parry to end the move early if you need to dodge an attack!
Toad can crawl along the ground!
Toad also utilizes the Crouching High Jump Badge! Crouch and then jump to get a huge boost in the air!
Toad has TWO walljumps and can also use the Wall-Climb Jump Badge! Toad’s first walljump will send him straight upwards!
Toad has a special VOICED MODE so you can play with a new twist! Theres also a second option that…. uhh….. I (Inf1n1te) voiced. Please upvote this character it made me lose my voice.
