Imitator, Flawless Mimic
When selected, Imitator copies the opponent’s character and forces a mirror match.
– Clientside character: the opponent does not need to also have Imitator installed for it to be selectable.
– Selectable in vanilla lobbies.
– Definitely incompatible with Multihustle, making Imitator switch characters in real time is definitely outside the scope of my abilities, but I could revisit the idea in the future when I have more experience.
Note, this character is maybe kind of buggy and for unknown reasons seemingly has a chance to crash the game if you’re player 2 and the opponent chose a modded character? I think it’s fixed in this version but i’m mentioning it just in case, if you plan to play the character try and challenge your opponent to be player 1, and i’m tired of trying and failing to fix it so i’m uploading and just hoping it works
Also installing this alongside trimay’s better character select causes 2 search bars to appear, and i have no idea how to fix it so it’s staying
