This is a consolidation of Workshop conventional weapon models using an updated template scheme. CVWP v2 allows users full template access via the user side config files.

Q: Why is the mod so small?
A: It’s broken into 2 mods, Scripts and Art Assets. This way any updates to the scripts won’t cause an 800+mb download every update. Art pack link in case you missed or ignored the popup.

Q: Where do I find the config files to edit?
A: in your "Steamsteamappsworkshopcontent268500673813380config" directory.

Q: What can I change?
A: Everything!!!, Full control over schematic, weapon, and attachment templates for every weapon for every tier.

Q: Will this work on my savegame that used CVWPv1?
A: Yes, just disable the CVWPv1 in the mod launcher, and load your save game ignoring the QQ message about missing mod.

Q: Does this have a Grimy loot table?
A: Yes.

Q: There’s to many schematics now, can we relink the weapons to the default schematics like what you did for CVWPv1?
A: Yes you can, but I’ll save you the trouble and link a custom config set saving you from that work.

Default Schematics + HideIfPurchased config: Upgrade triggers is back to game defaults for those not clear on what this does. example "Magnectic Rifle Squad Upgrade" will upgrade all rifles to Tier 2 versions, "Plasma Rifle Squad Upgrade" will upgrade all rifles to Tier 3 versions.

Q: What are you using to make changes to the config files so quickly?
A: Notepad++ with NppToolBucket-1.7 plugin for multi line find and replace to all 26 files.

Q: I tried to add "Suppression" to ability 6, but the weapon animation doesn’t work, what’s going on?
A: Not all the models natively support it. The work around is to grab the following mods to fix this issue.

Q: What’s Skins Mode?
A: With "XSkin" mod and "Mod Everything" mod CVWeaponPackv2 can finally offer a true skins only mode. The XSkins mod will give in your Weapon Upgrade UI a drop down list of templates to select which will override the Vanilla weapons based off the CVWeaponPackv2 templates. So if you tweaked the CVWeaponPackv2 configs for extra damage, mobility etc, those values will transfer. The "Mod Everything" mod gives a skin select to secondary weapons.
