Update 31/5:

The update includes a few new fixes and additions.

1. Revival Bullet now doesn’t require any other mods installed to work, it is able to function by itself.
2. Pistol shot ability now added to the class.
3. Hex Armor Mitigation Chance now added – Thanks to Mantis UK for pointing it out!

Class Description:

Tinkerer class specialize mainly in DOT Stacking and high damage output with many support abilities such as Reanimating zombies, granting free action points, shutting down and hacking mechanical units as well as mind control organic enemies.

This class also comes with 2 GTS Abilities, one active and one passive.

Squaddie:

Blaze Bolt
A guaranteed to hit pistol shot that sets the opponent surrounding on fire. 3 turn cooldown

Corporal:

Penetration Burst
Fires a volley of bullets in a straight line, shreds armor. Uses 2 bullets and 3 turn cooldown.

Aegis Bullet
Fires a seeking bullet that can stun the opponent for 2 turns and a small chance of rendering target in an unconscious state.

Sergeant:

Hex Armor
Grants user 2 armor points, 10 defence, 10 dodge, 1 HP Regen, immunity to status effects and explosives at the cost of 3 mobility.

Lethal Conceal
Gives the combined effects of Shadowstrike and Conceal of Rangers. You can re-enter concealment and gain +20 Aim and +20 Crit. Up to 3 uses and it is a free action.

Lieutenant

Poison Shell
Fires a Poison Shell at the opponent, regardless hit or miss, it will explode and release poisonous gases in the surrounding area. Shreds armor if the shell lands on the opponent. 5 Turn cooldown

Inspiron Bullet
Grants one ally an additional action point, recover from status effect recover 3 HP. 3 turn cooldown.

Captain

Circuit Round
A powerful round that deals increased damage towards Mechanical Units. If the round successfully lands, there is a 50% chance that it will shutdown the target and 20% chance of hacking the target. 3 turn cooldown.

Mind Bullet
Mind Bullet is simply another name for mind control. You can gain control of an organic unit for 3 turns. 5 turn cooldown.

Major

Distortion Burst
Fires a cone-shaped burst of bullets that is able to disorient and panic all targets caught in the cone. Costs 3 bullets and has a 5 turn cooldown.

Acid StandOff
Similar to Faceoff. Except your bullets are coated with burning acid. Any targets hit by the bullet will suffer from Acid Burn. 3 turn cooldown.

Colonel

Hexonic Throttle
A powerful invention that allows Tinkerers to fire 4 bullets at once with their main weapon.
Dealing over 50 Damage in one shot (Highest tier). Usually results in instant death of said target IF all 4 bullets lands.
Costs 4 bullets, can only use 3 times in a mission with a 3 turn cooldown.

Origin Round
An all-purpose round that is able to deal burn, acid burn, poison, panic and disorient on the target if it lands on an opponent. This special round is able to deal more damage than your average pistol bullet.
5 turn cooldown.

GTS Abilities

Revival Bullet – Cost 150 Supplies and 30 Elerium Crystals
A bullet made of Elerium Crystals that is psionically energized. It has the ability to reanimate corpses. You can only use it 5 times in a mission and it has a 4 turn cooldown.

Specter AI Thermal Scope – Cost 200 Supplies
A high performance scope that grants Tinkerers +10 Aim and Critical Chance
