Description:

this addon adds lightweight, optimised, and customisable damage numbers and hit sounds to make combat feel more satisfying and responsive

the default damage number font is verdana, yellow, with outlines, but clients can change change colour, size, etc to whatever they want and change the font to any font installed on their computer

hitsound is disabled by default, and the default hitsound is from quake but clients can change the sound file it plays to whatever they want

this was made for ttt, but it should still work just fine on other gamemodes

ttt-specific features:

by default, this addon shows the damage you would’ve dealt without armour against armoured players, since it’d be silly if you can just shoot people in the feet to check if theyre wearing armour

this addon has the option to hide damage numbers from disguised targets, but this is disabled by default because it doesnt bother me

doesn’t conflict with anything, works with ttt2

how to access the settings menu:
trouble in terrorist town
press F1 and go to the "Combat text" tab
sandbox
press F1, go to the "Options" tab, then go to the "Combat text settings" tab
other gamemodes
enter the combattext_settings command in the console
