Description:
Overview

This mod adds nuclear technology and aviation-related technologies. By researching aviation technologies, players can conduct bombing operations on target regions. The game’s end date is extended to January 1, 1961.

Important Note

Due to the addition of new Journal Entries (JE) and laws, starting a new save is required to use this mod.

New Buildings, Production Methods, and Goods
Goods

Uranium: Produced by the new building "Uranium Mine"
Missile:Produced via the new "Missile Production" method added to Automotive Industries.

Buildings

Uranium Mine:Produces "Uranium".
Military Airfield:Used to conduct bombing missions with traditional bombers and intercept enemy bombing using fighters. cannot be built in mountainous terrain. Includes a dedicated building model.
Missile Silo:Performs bombing missions using the new "Missile" weapon. Offers longer range and more powerful bombing than bombers. cannot be built in mountainous regions. Includes a dedicated building model.
Air Defense Base:Intercepts enemy bombing. Effectiveness varies based on production method and building level.
Nuclear Weapons Factory:Works with the "Production of Nuclear Bomb" JE to produce nuclear bombs. Finished bombs are stored in the national stockpile and can be viewed in the country panel.

Production Methods

Nuclear Power Plant:A new production method for building Power Plants, consuming Uranium to produce electricity.

New Interface

Military Airfields and Missile Silos have a new bombing mission interface. You can choose between Conventional Weapon Attacks and Weapon of Mass Destruction Strikes (nuclear strike), as well as select the target state and building.

Description of The Bombing Operation
Bombing Effects:

Depending on theb] type of building [/b], production method , type of bombing , different effects will be inflicted on the target state.

Conventional Weapon Attacks:
  • Military Airfield: Conduct bombing on the target building in the target state, depending on the production method of military airfield, reducing target building 10% or 25% throughput, causing 1% or 2.5% population casualties and increasing the 2% or 5% devastation of the target state.
  • Missile Silo: Conduct bombing on the target building in the target state, depending on the production method of missile silo, reducing target building 25% or 50% throughput, causing 2.5% or 5% population casualties and increasing the 5% or 10% devastation of the target state.

Weapon of Mass Destruction Strikes:

Bomb Urban Buildings/Rural Buildings/Development in the target state, destroying, causing 50% population casualties, increasing the 50% devastation and 50% pollution of the target state, and reducing the owner’s war support by 5/10/20 depending on the type of the target state ( Unincorporated State / Incorporated State / Capital State ) .

Bombing Range:

The range of bombing varies depending on the type of building and production method .

  • Biplane Bomber: Can only bomb neighboring states.
  • Strategic Bomber: Can bomb double-layer neighboring states
  • Short Range Missile: Can bomb double-layer neighboring states and all states within the strategic region of the current state.
  • Medium Range Missile: Can bomb triple-layer neighboring states, all states within the strategic region of the current state, and all states within neighboring strategic regions.
  • Intercontinental Ballistic Missile: The range is very long, and it can bomb targets across continents.

Bombing Success Rate/Bombing Penalties:

If the target state has any building is Air Defense Base or Military Airfields, the bombing success rate and penalties will vary depending on the level and production method of these buildings, as well as the type and production method of the executing building.

Note:

Each building can only execute one Conventional Weapon Attacks every two days and one Weapon of Mass Destruction Strikes per week; a single target state can only be bombed once every two days and subjected to one nuclear strike per week.
The following buildings cannot be bombed: Construction Sectors, Canals, Gold Fields, Military Buildings, Urban Center, Monuments (excluding Cristo Redentor and Power Bloc Statue), Skyscraper, Ownership Buildings, and Subsistence Agriculture.

Bombing Nuclear Weapons Factory, Military Airfield, Air Defense Base, Missile Silo, or Spaceport will directly demolish all level target buildings.

New Ship Type

Missile Cruiser: A new ship type featuring a unique model, with multiple upgrade tiers and corresponding visual variations.

New Laws and Institutions
  • Six new laws related to nuclear technology. Each law affects the use of nuclear tech differently. Population groups and ideologies have varying support for each law
  • Institute of Atomic Energy: Increases Uranium Mine throughput and reduces mortality.

New Events & Journal Entries

Includes a series of events and JEs related to researching and using nuclear and aviation technologies.

  • "Production of Nuclear Bomb" JE: Manages nuclear bomb production. Speed depends on the number of valid Nuclear Weapon Factories
  • "Production of intercontinental ballistic missile" JE: Manages ICBM production. Speed is based on War Machine Factory production capacity. Each factory level adds 10 to missile storage limit
  • "Space Program" JE: Allows viewing other countries’ nuclear and ICBM stockpiles and unlocks exploration-related events

New Treaty Articles
  • Air Defense Technology Assistance: allow countries to share or request the air defense relevant technologies from other countries when certain conditions are met.
  • Aviation Technology Assistance: which allow countries to share or request the aviation relevant technologies from other countries when certain conditions are met.
  • Added the "Lend Lease Act" treaty article, which allows countries to deliver or request leased military goods from other countries under specific conditions.

AI

Currently, AI will not use bombing functions, but it can intercept player bombing actions.

Compatibility
  • Incompatible with mods that modify the country panel, building panel, top bar, or ideologies.
  • Partially compatible with mods that add new buildings – those can be targeted by conventional bombing.
  • Incompatible with mods that change the game’s start or end date.
