UZ M62
M62 is a freight and passenger diesel locomotive, produced at the Luhansk Diesel Locomotive Plant in Ukraine from 1965 to 2001.
M62 is a single-section two-cabin six-axle diesel locomotive for use on 1520 mm wide tracks
The 14 DG diesel generator set consisted of a 14D40 (12DN23/30) engine and a GP-312 generator, and was mounted on the main frame. Power was transmitted by direct current. At a nominal shaft speed of 750 rpm, the engine reached a power of 2000 hp (1471 kW).
